How we started

Our journey with Russian Blue cats began as a long-held dream.It was always our dream to find a cat that sheds less, has an exceptional personality, and is more suitable for allergy-sensitive households. The Russian Blue met all those hopes—and far exceeded them.

In 2021, that dream came true when we welcomed our sweet Arthur into our lives. From the moment he joined our family, we were completely enchanted—not only by his elegance and gentle nature but by everything this extraordinary breed represents.

With his plush, low-shedding double coat, calm intelligence, and gentle temperament, Arthur were everything we were looking for. Not only did his meet our needs, he also captured our hearts in ways we never expected.

Inspired by Arthur, our fascination with the Russian Blue only grew deeper. We soon found ourselves wanting to do more—to help preserve this rare and noble breed and share its quiet magic with others. That passion led to the founding of our small, loving cattery: Whimsy Pixie (also known as Ur-archangel-blue), established in late 2022.

Our name, Whimsy Pixie, reflects the enchanting charm and subtle smile unique to the Russian Blue. It’s a tribute to the joy these cats bring—a joy that feels both magical and familiar, as if you’ve known them in another life.

We hope each of our kittens brings that same sense of wonder and connection to their new families. Because once you’ve met a Russian Blue… it feels like you’ve always known them. ❤️

Our Cats

Our Russian Blue Cats came from various TOP European lines, each has fair amount of Champions and Grand Champions in their pedigrees. They have also been genetically tested for any congenital conditions.

We treat our Cats as families, ensuring their exceptional life quality and absolute health of our kittens.

We feed not only conventional cat food but also high quality raw diet.

Kitten will come home with their favorite toys. We provide complementary 1 month health insurance, depending on exact carrier and carrier’s conditions.
